MTV to help fund 22 nonprofits through Mental Health Action Day

MTV Entertainment Studios’ third annual Mental Health Action Day will give mental health grants to 22 nonprofits in more than 20 cities.

Mental Health Action Day, set for May 18, was created by the company to further mental health awareness and action, according to an April 6 news release from MTV. The grant program’s members include more than 1,800 nonprofit organizations, brands, government agencies and leaders from more than 32 countries. 

Organizations including Adobe and the National Alliance on Mental Illness have partnered with the event. A full list of the 22 nonprofit organizations receiving grants can be found here
