Scottsdale, Ariz.-based LifeStance Health has partnered with Palo Alto, Calif.-based Calm Health to expand access to higher-acuity outpatient mental health care.
Under the partnership, Calm Health users who complete a mental health screening and require advanced support can be referred directly to LifeStance. The company offers virtual and in-person services across more than 550 centers.
The integration aims to streamline access to therapy, psychiatry and other behavioral health services when in-app tools and digital programs are not sufficient, according to the news release.
Calm Health is a mental health app available through health plans, providers and employers. It currently serves more than 26 million people.
At the Becker's Fall Behavioral Health Summit, taking place November 4–5 in Chicago, behavioral health leaders and executives will explore strategies for expanding access to care, integrating services, addressing workforce challenges and leveraging innovation to improve outcomes across the behavioral health continuum.
