Bloomfield, Conn.-based Cigna Healthcare is expanding its behavioral health offerings through a new collaboration with Headspace, the digital mental health app company.
Beginning Jan. 1, 2026, more than 7 million Cigna Healthcare members will gain access to a tailored version of the Headspace app at no cost through their employer benefit, according to a Nov. 10 news release.
The partnership aims to support members experiencing stress, burnout and sleep issues, and will include exclusive content and integrated navigation to in-network clinicians for higher levels of care.
The offering builds on Headspace’s existing features, which include guided meditations, sleepcasts, cognitive behavioral therapy tools and emotional check ins, according to the news release.
At the Becker's Fall Behavioral Health Summit, taking place November 4–5 in Chicago, behavioral health leaders and executives will explore strategies for expanding access to care, integrating services, addressing workforce challenges and leveraging innovation to improve outcomes across the behavioral health continuum.
