Chicago-based Saint Anthony Hospital is launching outpatient mental health services for adult patients and expanding walk-in appointments for children.

Beginning April 14, the hospital will open outpatient services for adult patients to improve daily functioning, develop coping strategies and enhance well-being, according to a hospital news release. Services will include psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis and treatment of mental health conditions.

The hospital is also opening walk-in appointments for children, following the success of its mental health service for patients younger than 18.

At the Becker's Fall Behavioral Health Summit, taking place November 4–5 in Chicago, behavioral health leaders and executives will explore strategies for expanding access to care, integrating services, addressing workforce challenges and leveraging innovation to improve outcomes across the behavioral health continuum.
