The programs are run by “peer coaches” – trained mental health providers who use their lived experience to connect with their clients. The county has a variety of these programs already in place, including with Advocates for Mentally Ill Housing, Inc.

The new peer coaching program is the eight-week Revive to Thrive program, which is aimed at young adults aged 18-25 and will be hosted on the Beautiful Minds Wellness campus in Auburn.

At the Becker's Fall Behavioral Health Summit, taking place November 4–5 in Chicago, behavioral health leaders and executives will explore strategies for expanding access to care, integrating services, addressing workforce challenges and leveraging innovation to improve outcomes across the behavioral health continuum.
