Blue Cross Blue Shield partners with Boys & Girls Clubs to address youth mental health

The Blue Cross Blue Shield Association has partnered with the Boys & Girls Clubs of America to address the youth mental health crisis by incorporating trauma-informed practices in clubs across the country.

The partnership will invest more than $10 million over four years into behavioral health services at the clubs, according to a June 22 news release. 

The funding will be used to introduce trauma-informed practices to over 5,000 clubs by 2026 and train more than 48,000 staff members to support the mental wellbeing of 3.6 million children nationwide.
