Minneapolis-based Allina Health was awarded the Platinum Bell Seal for Workplace Mental Health for 2022-23 by Mental Health America for its efforts to create a mentally healthy workplace.
The award, which has bronze, silver, gold and platinum recognition levels, is given to companies evaluated by Mental Health America based on policies and practices in four areas: workplace culture, benefits, compliance and wellness programs, according to a May 4 news release from Allina.
"Employee mental health and well-being are necessary for us to serve our communities and provide exceptional and compassionate care," Meghan Miller, PsyD, director of well-being and culture at Allina, said in the release. "Our status as a Bell Seal-certified organization demonstrates Allina Health's ongoing commitment to employee mental health and well-being."
