- One in 6 children in the U.S. between 2 and 8 have been diagnosed with a mental, behavioral or developmental disorder.
- Nearly 8 in 10 children with depression have received treatment.
- Six in 10 children with anxiety have received treatment.
- More than 1 in 5 children living 100 percent below the poverty line have a mental, behavioral or developmental disorder.
- More than 5 in 10 children with behavioral disorders have received treatment.
- 9.8 percent of children in the U.S. (6 million) have been diagnosed with attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder.
- 9.4 percent of children in the U.S. (5.8 million) have been diagnosed with anxiety.
