JPA Health has been awarded a multiyear, multimillion-dollar contract from the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration to lead a national effort to address recovery from mental health and substance use disorders.
JPA and its partner ICF Next will use the funds to develop and launch a national recovery campaign that will encourage young adults to seek or continue treatment for substance use disorder and mental illnesses, according to an Oct. 26 news release.
The agency will support the campaign by conducting research on the needs and barriers to accessing treatment and recovery supports, developing messages and materials that support targeted public education efforts, and monitoring and measuring the reach and impact of the campaign's messaging.
