Oregon Governor Tina Kotek has signed four mental health bills into law, FOX affiliate KPTV reported Aug. 8.
House Bill 2395 will make life-saving treatments such as Naloxone available in public buildings, including schools and grocery stores. Meanwhile, House Bill 2513 will strengthen Oregon Measure 110, which focuses on providing care for Oregon residents struggling with addiction.
Senate Bill 238 will help develop curriculum focusing on teaching students the danger of synthetic opioids, while House Bill 2757 will provide consistent funding for the state's crisis and suicide lifeline centers, the report said.
