The clinic will seek to address mental health, which is the second most pressing health concern among county residents, according to a Feb. 22 release. It will be developed by the Easterseals affiliate serving Maryland, Virginia and Washington, D.C.

The new facility will be modeled after the Steven A. Cohen Military Family Clinic in Silver Spring, Md., which Easterseals DC MD VA developed in 2017. Easterseals plans to accept Medicare and Medicaid at the Prince George’s County facility, the release said.

At the Becker's Fall Behavioral Health Summit, taking place November 4–5 in Chicago, behavioral health leaders and executives will explore strategies for expanding access to care, integrating services, addressing workforce challenges and leveraging innovation to improve outcomes across the behavioral health continuum.
