New York commits $10M for 2 youth mental health networks

New York plans to allocate $10 million to two youth mental health networks across the state, NBC affiliate WGRZ reported March 13.

Funding will be dispersed through the state's Office of Mental Health. The commitment will complement Gov. Kathy Hochul's $1 billion mental healthcare plan for the state.

The Statewide Network for Youth Peer Support and Advocacy and the Statewide Structure and Network for Family Support and Advocacy will receive $5 million each over the course of five years.
