Talkspace CFO to step down

Talkspace has named Ian Harris as CFO, and current CFO Jennifer Fulk will step down, according to a May 21 news release.

Mr. Harris was most recently a partner at investment firm Hudson Executive Capital, and previously worked for Barclays Capital, where he advised healthcare companies on mergers and acquisitions. 

Ms. Fulk will assist with the transition while spending time with family, according to the release. 

Talkspace, a telemental health provider, has recently doubled down on its business-to-business efforts. More than 130 million people have access to the program through insurers, employee assistance programs and other employer partnerships.

The company is also rolling out services to Medicare beneficiaries. It is currently available to fee-for-service Medicare members in 11 states, and the company plans to expand these services to every state by the end of the year.
