Mark Russ, MD, has been named chief medical officer of Silver Hill Hospital, a psychiatric hospital in New Canaan, Conn.
Dr. Russ joins Silver Hill with over four decades of clinical and leadership experience, according to a July 25 news release. He most recently served as medical director and vice chair for clinical programs at New York-Presbyterian Westchester Behavioral Health Center in White Plains for eight years.
He previously taught as a professor of clinical psychiatry at Weill Cornell Medical College in New York City and as an associate professor of psychiatry and director of the advanced clinical experience in psychiatry at the Hofstra North Shore-LIJ School of Medicine in Uniondale, N.Y.
