Oceans Healthcare has named David Rubin, MD, as chief medical officer.
Dr. Rubin was most recently the director of the Division of Professional and Public Education for the Department of Psychiatry at Boston-based Massachusetts General Hospital and Mass General Brigham for Children.
James Butler, MD, PhD, Oceans’ previous chief medical officer, will continue to serve as a medical director. He is stepping down to continue his clinical practice and spend more time with his family, according to a June 27 news release.
Plano, Texas-based Oceans Healthcare operates 48 inpatient and outpatient behavioral health facilities across nine states.
