NewYork-Presbyterian names 2 behavioral health leaders

The Center for Youth Mental Health at NewYork-Presbyterian, based in New York City, has expanded the roles of two of its leaders.

The center, a collaboration between Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons and Weill Cornell Medicine, named Anne Marie Albano, PhD, as director and Shannon Bennett, PhD, as assistant director.

Dr. Albano, the Columbia University Clinic for Anxiety and Related Disorders professor of medical psychology, and Dr. Bennett, an assistant professor of clinical psychiatry at NewYork-Presbyterian Weill Cornell Medicine, are co-clinical directors of the clinic.

"In these new roles, Drs. Albano and Bennett will oversee the day-to-day operations and the collaborative efforts of faculty in conducting cutting-edge research, delivering expert clinical services and producing evidence-based educational programming concerning youth mental health," NewYork-Presbyterian said in a statement shared with Becker's.
