Portland-based MaineHealth has named Alex Keuroghlian, MD, as chief of MaineHealth Behavioral Health and chair of psychiatry at MaineHealth Maine Medical Center.
Dr. Keuroghlian will lead behavioral services across the MaineHealth system, and will oversee the system’s psychiatry teaching programs, according to a May 22 news release.
Prior to joining MaineHealth, Dr. Keuroghlian was director of public and community psychiatry services at Boston-based Massachusetts General Hospital. He is an associate professor of psychiatry at Harvard Medical School.
He begins his role at MaineHealth May 30.
