MaineHealth Behavioral Health names VP for child and adolescent services 

Portland, Maine-based MaineHealth Behavioral Health has named Melissa Bowker-Kinley, MD, as vice president of medical affairs, child and adolescent services.

Dr. Bowker-Kinley most recently served as a child and adolescent psychiatrist at Portland, Maine-based InterMed, and as medical director of Auburn-based Health Affiliates Maine, according to a Jan. 3 news release from MaineHealth. 

“Melissa’s vast experience makes her uniquely qualified to lead behavioral services for the vulnerable youth in our communities,” Kelly Barton, president of MaineHealth Behavioral Health, said. 

MaineHealth Behavioral Health operates a 100-bed freestanding inpatient behavioral health facility and several outpatient facilities.
