Henry Ford Health, Acadia Healthcare name CEO of new behavioral health hospital

Emily Sexton, MSN, RN, has been appointed CEO of Henry Ford Behavioral Health Hospital, a collaboration between Franklin, Tenn.-based Acadia Healthcare and Detroit-based Henry Ford Health.

The 192-bed inpatient behavioral health hospital is under construction in West Bloomfield, Mich., and will offer behavioral health services to patients in the Detroit area, according to a Feb. 20 news release. It will also serve as an academic site.

Ms. Sexton previously served as director of hospital operations and nurse executive for Henry Ford Kingswood Hospital in Ferndale, Mich., with the last 10 years of her career with Henry Ford focused on nursing leadership and hospital operations.
