The digital mental health company has provided wellness coaching through employers and health plans. The company offers a digital meditation app for consumers.
According to an April 23 news release from Headspace, the mental health coaches will not make mental health or medical diagnoses, provide clinical treatment or prescribe medication. Headspace plans to launch direct-to-consumer therapy services later this year, according to the release.
