Forge Health names board chair

Mental health and substance use treatment provider Forge Health has named Paul Martino as its next chair of the board of directors.

Mr. Martino is the co-founder of value-based primary, multispecialty and urgent care company VillageMD, according to a Dec. 13 news release. He previously served as senior vice president of clinical strategy and innovation at Anthem/WellPoint.

As chair, Mr. Martino will advise Forge on strategies aiming to grow its partnerships with primary care physicians, specialty medical groups, health systems and payers, along with enhancing its mental health and substance use care model, the release said.
