Elliot Health System CMO to oversee behavioral health, primary care services

Manchester, N.H.-based Elliot Health System has named Ryan Clouser, DO, chief medical officer of Elliot Hospital and Transitional Care Services. 

In this role, Dr. Clouser will oversee Elliot Medical Group’s primary care and behavioral health services, along with clinical, operational, quality and performance management functions at Elliot Hospital-based practices. Dr. Clouser returned to Elliot after serving as CMO at Burlington-based University of Vermont Health and Berlin-based Central Vermont Medical Center. He previously held leadership roles within the Vermont system, including associate chief medical officer of capacity management and co-director of the MICU. He also worked at Elliot as an ICU physician and medical director of the hospital’s ICU. 

Elliot Health System is the largest provider of comprehensive healthcare services in Southern New Hampshire. Its flagship facility, Elliot Hospital, is a 296-bed acute care facility.
