UnityPoint, based in Des Moines, Iowa, closed a deal with Carle Health that took effect on April 1, the report said. UnityPoint’s three Peoria-area hospitals, more than 850 physicians, 76 clinics, a level two trauma center and other services, and a college, now fall under the Carle Health umbrella.
Patients in the area should not expect to see any disruption in their care, and there are no changes to providers or locations where care is accessed, the report said, citing a Carle Health news release.
