The funds will be used to provide mental healthcare and substance use services to more than 250 new clients and connect them to support services including transitional housing and health insurance, according to a March 22 news release from UnitedHealth.
“At a time when LGBTQ+ youth are increasingly at risk across the country, now more than ever, affirming and accessible mental health care is essential,” Jeremy Hanson Willis, CEO of Rainbow Health, said in the release.
