King of Prussia, Pa.-based Universal Health Services has purchased Palo Verde Behavioral Health Center in Tucson, Ariz. for $19.1 million, AZBigMedia reported March 18.
UHS had previously leased the majority of the 84,000-square-foot facility. The company operates an 84-bed acute psychiatric hospital and outpatient services at the location.
There are two other healthcare tenants in the health center, according to the report. Palo Verde Behavioral Health Center is located on the campus of Tucson Medical Center.
