Private equity-backed Prosperity Behavioral Health acquires RCM firm

Financial services startup Prosperity Behavioral Health acquired revenue-cycle management company Elevated Billing, according to a news release.

The deal bolsters Prosperity’s service offerings and expands its footprint into markets including Utah and Idaho. 

Prosperity entered a new phase of growth in 2022 with investment from private equity firm NewSpring Capital. The investment was to help expand services and achieve sustainable, long-term growth.

Prosperity doubled in size in 2019 when it acquired Vertex Healthcare Services, according to the news release.

Terms of the Elevated Billing acquisition were not disclosed.
