PE-backed group acquires California therapy provider

Boston-based The Stepping Stones Group has acquired Fullerton, Calif.-based Gallagher Pediatric Services. 

According to a news release from Hexagon Capital Alliance published in February, Gallagher Pediatric Services provides physical and occupational therapy in most Southern California school districts. 

The Stepping Stones Group provides applied behavior analysis services for children with autism and other behavioral services in schools in more than 45 states. The company also operates ABA centers. 

The company is owned by private equity firm Leonard Green & Partners.
