Ohio safety-net provider to acquire behavioral health organization

Hamilton, Ohio-based Primary Health Solutions plans to acquire South Community Behavioral Health based in Moraine. 

The acquisition is expected to become effective in July, pending regulatory approval, according to an April 20 news release from Primary Health. Services provided by South Community Behavioral Health will continue, with its employees becoming employees of Primary Health Solutions.

The transaction will expand access to behavioral health services and strengthen integrated, community-based care across the Greater Miami Valley region, according to the release. 

Primary Health Solutions provides medical, dental, pharmacy and behavioral health services to more than 40,000 people annually across Southwest Ohio.
