Omaha-based Nebraska Medicine is planning to build a $99.3 million four-story health center in midtown Omaha that will expand access to behavioral health and other outpatient services.

The Farnam Health Center will house dermatology, general internal medicine, an outpatient gastrointestinal program and behavioral health services. The facility is expected to open in September 2027, according to a March 10 news release from the system.

“We know there is an urgent need for behavioral health services in the community. This project is a meaningful step toward expanding our world-class care and supporting those who rely on us,” Michael Ash, MD, CEO of Nebraska Medicine, said in the release.

The site will also serve as the primary location for Nebraska Medicine’s dermatology program and will support general internal medicine.
