On an Aug. 8 investor call transcribed by Seeking Alpha, CFO Dan Bourdon told investors the change was to reflect an “increased emphasis on profitable growth and disciplined capital deployment.”
Scottsdale, Ariz.-based LifeStance, founded in 2017, operates 575 centers in 33 states. The company closed 82 clinic locations in 2023, executives previously said.
The majority of the provider’s services are provided through telehealth. CEO Ken Burdick told investors around two-thirds of LifeStance’s visits are currently through telehealth.
Mr. Bourdon told investors the company is growing its patient volumes, and it will add new facilities as needed in areas where in-person utilization is growing.
“I would expect that it will be more of the same next year,” Mr. Bourdon said. “We’ll have a modest amount of de novo adds while we continue to grow into our footprint.”
