The clinical management technology company has managed Virginia’s behavioral health utilization for 16 years, with the latest contract signing Kepro on for a base of five years with five optional years, according to an April 26 news release from Kepro.
Kepro will manage services including authorizations for all inpatient and outpatient medical and behavioral health services within the Cardinal Care Medicaid program and for Medicaid waivers and specialty services, according to the release. The company will also oversee call center services for providers and members, including a behavioral health crisis line.
