Linn County will receive nearly $1.9 million and Johnson County will receive $1.4 million. The region’s budget was originally going to provide the counties $2.5 million in funding.

The allocation for Linn County is not set in stone due to uncertainty of whether the funds will be enough to cover provider reimbursement for staffing and services.

The two facilities serve nine counties combined in the state and are the only state-designated access centers in the region.

At the Becker's Fall Behavioral Health Summit, taking place November 4–5 in Chicago, behavioral health leaders and executives will explore strategies for expanding access to care, integrating services, addressing workforce challenges and leveraging innovation to improve outcomes across the behavioral health continuum.
