The grants will go toward behavioral health services, youth development, and opioid overdose prevention and harm reduction programs throughout the county, according to a Feb. 22 news release from the CCDPH.
Eighteen programs have received grants ranging from $250,000 to more than $1 million that will be disbursed over a four-year period and come from American Rescue Plan Act funds.
Eight of these programs are mental health organizations, seven are youth development organizations and three are opioid overdose prevention organizations.
