The funds will support active military members and their families as well.

Programs will soon be able to apply for part of the grant. In order to be eligible, programs have to show that they use evidence-based practices, train staff members to understand the military and connect clients to other mental health services upon discharge.

Priority will be given to locations within 50 miles of a military base.

At the Becker's Fall Behavioral Health Summit, taking place November 4–5 in Chicago, behavioral health leaders and executives will explore strategies for expanding access to care, integrating services, addressing workforce challenges and leveraging innovation to improve outcomes across the behavioral health continuum.
