Irvine, Calif.-based Discovery Behavioral Health has opened two 72-bed treatment centers in Irving, Texas, and Orange, Calif., with the aim of combining two of its brands, Center for Discovery and Discover Mood & Anxiety.

The centers offer care for patients with primary eating disorders, primary mental health disorders and co-occurring substance use disorders, according to an Oct. 20 news release. The Orange facility will serve adolescents, while the Irving location will treat adolescents and young adults.

“These campuses also expand our ability to collaborate with best-in-class partners including our neighbors at Chapman Global,” John Peloquin, president and CEO of Discovery Behavioral Health said. “Measurement-based care remains the hallmark of Discovery, and the insights we gain will not only improve patient outcomes but will also advance our industry by reducing relapse rates and creating clearer pathways to lasting recovery.”

The company has also expanded its treatment center in Annapolis, Md., to 40 beds.
