Dayton Children's plans $12M behavioral health campus

Dayton (Ohio) Children's is planning a $12 million behavioral health campus in Miamisburg, Ohio.

According to a Dec. 4 news release, the 40,000-square-foot campus is slated to open in fall 2024. The campus will host outpatient therapy and an intensive outpatient/partial hospitalization program.

In addition to the outpatient behavioral health center, Dayton Children's is building a $110 million inpatient behavioral health center slated to open in Dayton in 2025.

"Behavioral health is the crisis of this generation and we are doing everything we can to meet that need," Debbie Feldman, CEO of Dayton Children's, said in the release. "This is another area in which families need services on a weekly or daily basis so having locations close to home can help make the process easier and more convenient."
