Everett, Wash.-based Compass Health has opened the Marc Healing Center, a new 70,000-square-foot facility for intensive behavioral health services in Everett.
The center includes a 16-bed evaluation and treatment unit, a 16-bed crisis triage center, outpatient services and an on-site pharmacy, according to a Sept. 18 news release. It also provides space for crisis prevention, outreach and community engagement teams.
The $71 million project was funded through public and private support, including nearly $12 million raised through Compass Health’s first capital campaign. Additional financing came from federal New Markets Tax Credit partners and contributions from the state of Washington, Snohomish County and the city of Everett, according to the release.
The facility is the second of three phases in Compass Health’s Broadway Campus Redevelopment Project, which also includes supportive housing and plans for integrated healthcare and administrative space.
Compass Health expects the facility to serve 1,500 individuals annually through more than 300,000 points of service.
