Children’s Home of Northern Kentucky to receive $150K donation

Children’s Home of Northern Kentucky in Covington, a behavioral health facility, has been gifted $150,000 on behalf of the city of Independence, Ky., Link NKY reported Feb. 21.

The donation comes from federal COVID-19 Aid Relief and Economic Security Act and American Rescue Plan Act funds. 

The hospital initially asked for $100,000 but was given more after the city council saw how many residents received care at the facility. 

Children’s Home cared for 3,038 individuals between July 2021 and June 2022.
