The housing will be operated by Columbia Pacific CCO and its local partners, Clatsop Community Action and Clatsop Behavioral Health, according to a March 8 news release from CareOregon.
Two-thirds of the space will be reserved for market rate units for healthcare workers to encourage more providers to work for social service and healthcare organizations in the area.
The rest of the units will be used as permanent supportive housing for patients with behavioral health needs. The project will provide long-term housing solutions for those at risk of houselessness through support from Clatsop Behavioral Health, the release said.
The building is expected to open for residents by spring 2024.
