San Jose, Calif.-based Caminar, a provider of community-based mental health and substance use care, opened its Teen and Family Wellness Center-Palo Alto (Calif.) to expand behavioral healthcare services for adolescents and families.

The center is designed for adolescents ages 12-17 and offers in-person, telehealth and hybrid therapy options, according to a March 3 news release from Caminar. Services include initial assessments, comprehensive biopsychosocial evaluations, treatment planning and family counseling. Group therapy will be offered in a second phase and will include age-specific cohorts and sessions focused on dialectal behavior therapy skills, expressive arts, mindfulness and social-emotional learning.

In 2025, the organization supported more than 45,000 youths and adults across seven counties in Northern California and the San Francisco Bay Area, the release said.
