Concord, Calif.-based Center for Social Dynamics has acquired Behavior Change Institute, based in Alamogordo, N.M.
The combined organization aims to expand access to autism and behavioral health services and accelerate development of new treatment models that blend in-person, virtual and immersive technologies, according to a Feb. 19 news release from the Center for Social Dynamics.
Behavior Change Institute specializes in diagnostic evaluations, early intervention and evidence-based behavioral therapies. The Center for Social Dynamics provides autism and behavioral health services delivered virtually and in person across home, center and school environments.
Under the acquisition, families served by Behavior Change Institute will continue receiving care from their existing clinical teams and gain access to Center for Social Dynamics’ broader service offerings and caregiver support tools. Clinicians and staff from both organizations will have access to shared professional development pathways and research participation opportunities, according to the release.
