77-clinic autism treatment chain changes hands

Shore Capital Partners sold Behavioral Innovations to Tenex Capital Management, another private equity firm.

Behavioral Innovations has 77 clinics providing applied behavioral analysis therapy to children with autism spectrum disorder. The chain operates clinics in Texas, Oklahoma and Colorado, according to a June 6 news release from Shore Capital Partners. 

Shore Capital Partners invested in Behavioral Innovations in 2017, according to the release. It grew from 13 locations in 2017 to 77 in 2024. 

Tenex Capital Management backs six other healthcare companies, according to its website.
