Funding will be dispersed through the state’s Office of Mental Health. The commitment will complement Gov. Kathy Hochul’s $1 billion mental healthcare plan for the state.

The Statewide Network for Youth Peer Support and Advocacy and the Statewide Structure and Network for Family Support and Advocacy will receive $5 million each over the course of five years.
