Sun River Health receives $3.8M to expand community health center services in New York

Peekskill, N.Y.-based Sun River Health has been granted $3.8 million to expand two of its community care centers.

The organization will use $1.8 million of the grant for The Alpha School, its location in New York City, according to a Feb. 3 news release from Sun River. The funds will be used to expand the community care center’s services, including walk-in primary care and behavioral health treatment and equipment upgrades. 

The group intends to use the remaining $2 million to add urgent care services and expand primary care at its location in Beacon, N.Y., according to the release.
