South Carolina mental health center launches new addiction treatment program

Live Oak Mental Health & Wellness in Ladson, S.C., has launched a new substance use and recovery program, CBS affiliate WCSC reported Jan. 1.

The program, which is set to officially begin Jan. 8, is manned by a team of members who all have over a decade of experience as addiction specialists. Adults 18 years or older are eligible for the program and must fill out an assessment to be accepted, the report said.
