The funding from the California Department of Health Care Services under the Behavioral Health Continuum Infrastructure Program will be used to build a 30-bed facility next to Pathway House, the nonprofit organization’s residential substance-use treatment center.

The three-story building will be dedicated to withdrawal management, allowing the Pathway House to be open exclusively for residential substance use treatment, the report said.
