Gibson Gives to provide opioid emergency kits at more than 72 music venues

Gibson Gives, a charitable branch of musical instrument company Gibson, will supply opioid emergency kits to more than 72 music venues in Nashville, Tenn.

The kits will be distributed through the organization's new TEMPO Nashville Live Music Venue Program in partnership with the Metro Nashville police department. TEMPO, which stands for Training and Empowering Musicians to Prevent Overdose, additionally helps train musicians, crew members and nonprofits how to use the kits.

Each kit will contain two doses of naloxone, an opioid overdose reversal drug, along with personal protective equipment and video instructions.
