The funding is from the Prescription Opioid Settlement Distribution Commission and will go to organizations focused on harm reduction, treatment access and education across Delaware, which is among the top three states with the highest drug overdose rates.
Sixteen of the recipient organizations focus on statewide efforts, while 15 are focused on New Castle County, three in Kent County and four in Sussex County, the report said.
