The Biden administration unveiled a list of resources to help businesses and state leaders increase employment opportunities for Americans struggling with substance use disorder or who are in recovery.
The resources are a part of President Joe Biden's National Drug Control Strategy and Unity Agenda efforts, according to a Nov. 9 news release. They will be available to private businesses, nonprofit organizations, unions, trade associations and state, local and tribal governments.
The Recovery-Ready Workplace Toolkit aims to help support workers with substance use disorder by promoting addiction treatment and recovery support services, developing a safe and healthy work environment, breaking down barriers for employment and reducing stigma.
