The grants will be used to support California residents with substance use disorders transition from treatment, incarceration and other high-risk settings into stable housing and increase access to prevention, treatment and recovery services across Los Angeles, Fresno and San Francisco counties, according to a Sept. 20 news release.
The grants awarded to California organizations are $300,000 to Homeboy Industries, $250,000 to LA Family Housing, $200,000 to the Downtown Women’s Center in Los Angeles, $75,000 to Good Shepherd Gracenter in San Francisco and $400,000 to Fresno-based California Health Collaborative.
